KwaMquhe
The storefront, till and member card for a Durban grocery shop.
What it does
KwaMquhe started as a grocery shop in a single shipping container. Its software is ours: the price list people check before they walk over, the till at the counter, and the Mnquhe Card that gives members a lower price.
- Prices are the product
- The price list is the front page, with the normal and member price side by side, in English and isiZulu.
- No developer for a price change
- Prices live in one file the shop edits itself. Nothing has to be rebuilt.
- One till
- Sales, stock and the card wallet run in a till app made for the counter.

- Members show a card with a QR code at the till and pay the member price.
